MVR EVAPORATION & CRYSTALLIZATION

MVR Evaporation&Crystallization - takes use of the process of compressing the secondary vapor (low temperature, low pressure) from the evaporation process so as to increase its temperature and pressure, and then reuse it as a heat source to heat the liquid to be evaporated, thereby achieving the purpose of recycling the vapor. The function of MVR is to improve the quality of the vapor without creating energy.

Working Principle of MVR Evaporator

Advantages of MVR Evaporator

  • MVR evaporators has low energy consumption. In the context of rising energy cost, the relatively stable price of electricity greatly enhances the competitiveness of enterprises using MVR evaporators. 
  • MVR evaporators do not require a condenser or only need a small area of a condenser. The structure and process are very compact, with fully automatic operation, continuous running, and are safe and reliable. 
  • MVR evaporators have a small temperature difference, which is not prone to corrode heat exchange tubes,not easily fouled, and provides excellent evaporation effects for heat-sensitive materials, thus extending the service life of the equipment. 
  • MVR evaporators only use electrical energy and do not have pressure vessels, so they do not require supervision by safety inspection departments.

Disadvantages of MVR Evaporators

  • MVR evaporators are not suitable for liquid with a high boiling point elevation in salt solutions, such as calcium chloride, magnesium chloride, caustic soda, etc. 
  • The operating flexibility of MVR evaporators is small, with a limited adjustable range, and the coefficient can only reach 70-110%.

MVR Forced Circulative Evaporationg & Crystallization

Application
Suitable for evaporation and crystallization of high salt water treatment and widely applied in industries of chemicals,pharmaceuticals and wastewater treatment.

MVR Falling Film Evaporation

Application
Suitable for evaporation and concentration of water or organic solvent solutions (such as ethanol) in industries such as traditional Chinese medicine, food, chemical, and light industry. Especially suitable for concentration of multiple varieties, batches, and low viscosity solutions.

MVR Horizontal Falling Film Evaporation

Application
The MVR horizontal falling film evaporation system is the most advanced and the most energy saving MVR system.It uses the horizontal evaporating chamber which will save much space occupation and easily for operation and maintenance.What’s more,because of its special horizontal falling film principle,it can save more 10-15% electric consumption,compared with the MVR vertical falling film evaporation system. It is suitable for liquid concentration with low viscosity,low boiling point and without crystallization.

High heat transfer coefficient, small temperature difference, vacuum evaporation.
 
Material in the heat exchange tube is in a suitable boiling state to avoid dry wall and scaling caused by violent vaporization.
 
Reasonable configuration of circulation pump to effectively avoid scaling on the inner wall of the tube.

Boiling/evaporation process is in the separator instead of heater to avoid material scaling, which will effectively prolong the life of the evaporation system.
 
Reasonable configuration of circulation pump to effectively avoid scaling on the inner wall of the tube.

The compressor types commonly used in MVR evaporator are Roots compressor and centrifugal compressor.The energy consumption of centrifugal compressor is relatively low, but when the evaporation is less than two tons,the MVR evaporator can only use Roots compressor. However, no matter which compressor is used, the cost of MVR evaporator is always lower than that of multi-effect evaporator in the range of 1 to 50t evaporation per hour.
